SPREADING SOLUTIONS TO UNCOOK THE PLANET
Uncook the Planet is a postcard project that fuses established climate solutions with imaginative illustration, art and design. It seeks to spread hope and solutions in the face of climate change. The art was created by artists, illustrators and makers following an open call for submissions. Proceeds from sales of the pack are donated to Friends of the Earth.

AN OPEN CALL FOR ART
Appearing across media including BBC Scotland, It’s Nice That and Cool Hunting, the open call for art reached an audience of makers, illustrators and artists. It invited them to visit the Uncook website, download the brief and find inspiration in the many solutions that already exist to the climate crisis.
CURATED BY ARTISTS
& CLIMATE SCIENTISTS
A panel of expert curators from University of Arts London, Falmouth University and FuturePlanet, including myself, reviewed hundreds of submissions and narrowed it down to the best 50. These were brought together as suite of postcards and beautifully packaged up alongside the Uncook Booklet.
